Hotel Review: Boracay Courtyard Beach Resort

Boracay Courtyard Beach Resort is one of the most affordable hotels in the island of Boracay. A superior room only costs Php1000 during lean season and Php1400 during peak season, good for 2 per night. It already includes all-you-can eat breakfast at its sister hotel, La Carmela de Boracay Resort Hotel, and access to the pool as well. The hotel is located at Station 2, a few steps away from La Carmela which is located at the beach front.

The booking process was a pain because they do not have online reservation system. We contacted them using the contact information on Boracay Courtyard's website but got no response, email or text, no one was answering when we tried calling them. We knew that La Carmela was its sister company so we tried our luck and reserved through them. Instantly, we got a response through email, instructing us how we can pay for the reservation. We paid through bank deposit and voila, our reservation was confirmed. We also booked airport transfers through them which costed P750 per person from Caticlan airport. A bit pricey but it's worth it. The drivers were prompt, friendly and very respectful.

The room we booked has 2 single beds, but we only used one, pretty huge for the 2 of us. The room was very simple, nothing grand, but it was very neat, and it looked new.  The bathroom was really clean and comfortable.

And the thing we liked about most was the free breakfast. The food was overflowing, mostly Filipino and Chinese cuisines, you can choose to eat bread and fruits, rice and fried fish, tocino, hotdogs or corned beef, congee and other soup, or you can eat them all in small portions, it's really up to you. You can really get the value for your money.

 

We kinda disliked the location of the hotel, you have to pass though a small alley of souvernir stores. The sales ladies were kinda annoying because they will offer you a lot of things to buy every time you pass by. But, overall, we were really satisfied with the service, room and  food. We will definitely come back to this hotel.
